Hi,

Hi, I dont think you can transfer the ownership of your GoDaddy Hosting to another person but you may give your password to the buyer to give him/her conveniently to use your hosting without an obligation to move another host. But, in this case, any problem on the hosting will give you a trouble and you will be charged at the end of the billing cycle. Therefore, I wouldnt give anyone to transfer your hosting by just giving your password. You may call Godaddy Custmer service on this to find out if hosting transfer is possible. I hope this helps.

In any case,

Hi Terry,

When you sell the domain name, you only sell the domain name not the website content. If your deal with the buyer also includes the website content, then you need to access the hosting account and dump the website content as an sql file. Also, you need to compress the website files and give both sql and website files to the buyer.

Then buyer can install these files to a new hosting account. After installing everything to the new hosting, changing config file with the new information (database name, user name, password etc) should complete the domain and website transfer. I hope this helps.

I found this very interesting and thanks.

I am selling my Wordpress blog with the domain name on Flippa. How do I transfer the contents of the blog when I do the domain push?

When you do the domain push does it automatically push the blog contents as well?

Thanks for your help.

Great article!!One catch with Whypark is- if for any reason they close your account you loose your sites and your content (even your own content you add). As long as you depend on your domains on their site, you have to strictly adhere to the rules. I know a buddy who lost 500 sites-that were closed by Whypark because he had some traffic from China. He lost all the content and tweaking stuff he had spent on.The best alternative to domain parking is to develop a full optimized sites.

You can get a customized website- designed and fully optimized, content rich, PPC optimized, eye appealing website, each website consists of more than 500 web pages, you get 100% of the revenue from your domain name if you have ads on your website, no hidden costs, all for as lows as $9.00 if you use this link:http://www.ppc-sites.com/aff/798492
